Nika Cseh

About Nika

Nika has worked with many couples navigating a wide variety of relationship challenges and dynamics, including navigating life changes, communication difficulties, trust issues, intimacy concerns, and blended family dynamics. Nika brings a non-judgmental and compassionate approach to each couple, recognising that every relationship is unique.

 

She supports couples at all relationship stages including those who are starting out, those in long-term partnerships, or those navigating separation and reconciliation. Her goal is to help each couple strengthen their connection, understand each other more deeply, and build healthier ways of relating.

Approach to Couples Therapy

Nika holds an Advanced Study Major in Couples and Relationship Counselling from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.

 

She has completed professional workshops and training with leading experts including:

  • Drs John and Julie Gottman – 10 Core Principles for Couples and Couples Therapy Interventions: Transforming Outcomes with the Gottman Method

  • EFT and Polyvagal Theory in Practice

  • Getting Off to a Powerful Start in Couples Therapy

 

Nika is a registered practising counsellor and a member of the Australian Counselling Association (Member No. 25856).

Her therapeutic approach draws on evidence-based modalities including:

  • The Gottman Method

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Attachment Theory​
