Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Statement
Melbourne Psychology & Counselling (MPC) is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone who accesses, works within, or engages with our practice.
We welcome people of all backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, faiths, abilities and neurotypes, ages, genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, relationship structures and family backgrounds.
We recognise that people’s identities, experiences and circumstances can influence both their mental health and their experiences of accessing care. We aim to provide services that are respectful, accessible and responsive to each person as an individual.
MPC is committed to providing services free from discrimination, harassment, prejudice and exclusion. We expect all staff, clinicians, clients and visitors to treat one another with dignity, courtesy and respect.
We are committed to reflecting on and improving our practices so that the people who engage with MPC feel respected, understood and able to engage in care in a way that feels safe and authentic.
